I believe this bag is from the 1980s, before being called the “Penny” Pocket Bag of the 1990s with the standard style stamp of 9755. From my research, in the 1980s, the “Pocket Bag” had random style numbers, like this one - but it is definitely a member of the Coach Pocket Bag Purse line.
Beautiful British Tan Leather, all lovingly restored and refurbished by me, as well as the brass hardware. She came to me pretty roughed up, but now she is refreshed and ready for many more years of love!
Turn-lock closure in brass Unadjustable leather strap with large, brass, Lobster Claw endings. Strap is removable to be carried as a clutch One outside slip pocket in the back One main compartment with two more slip pockets under the leather flap front, one in the front of the main compartment and one on the back wall of the main compartment, for a total of 4 fabulous pockets.
This is a beautiful bag that would delight any Vintage Coach Collector!
